Send one photograph — the cousins, the grandparents, the dog under the table — and we paint your whole household into Thanksgiving. Three come back free. You pick the one that hangs.

Turkey hats on the dog

The Silly shelf: the food coma, the wishbone, who took the drumstick. The face stays exact. The situation does not.

The faces stay yours, everything else is November.

Headcount is exact

Every person and animal in the photograph, and not one more. If a face is missing or a cousin is invented, the next painting is free.

A judge scores every painting

Each painting is scored for likeness against your photograph. Under our bar and it is painted again before you see it.

Three shelves. Forty-eight Thanksgivings. One photograph.

House Rule

We paint children here, and a parent or guardian signs for every photograph with a child in it. Every painting with a child is looked at twice before it is shown, and once more, by a person, before it is printed.

One painting: the wall, the sweatshirt, the mug.

Archival prints and framed canvas from the wall-art printers we use for everything we make. Sweatshirts, mugs and totes made to order, one at a time. Everything ships tracked.

A family painted on the Tradition shelf, seated at the table with the turkey coming in

A family of artists, with AI painting yours.

We are a family of artists, and some of us have been creating for seventy years. Nearly all of the Thanksgiving art we see is a cartoon turkey with the colours swapped, and nearly all of the AI art that we see doesn’t inspire us. So the three shelves here are painted from the traditions themselves — Currier & Ives and the magazine cover, the Dutch harvest still life and the Hudson River autumn, the parade morning and the pie table, the mall studio and the turkey hat — and none of the three would recognise the others.

If we are successful, the oil paintings we create in our studio can hang in our own homes and don’t need to be advertised to support our family. We hope one of these is the one that comes down off the hallway wall every November for the next thirty years.
